Karen and I hired an Alvechurch boat from Gayton. I am still looking for pictures.

Hire boat holiday 2001 (Llangollen)

Karen and I had a long weekend on the Llangollen canal.  We hired a Black Prince boat from Chirk and went all the way to the end at Llangollen (before the current mooring pontoons were put in).  We then retraced our steps and carried on past Chirk until it was time to return to the hire base.

I cannot find any pictures at present.

Hire boat holiday 1990 (Kennet & Avon)

Ali and I had a holiday with Mike & Cathy Myers on the K&A.  It was Mike's friend's boat.  We also took Chris, Steve, Sophie and Lauren.  Sophie was one year old and Lauren just a few months.  I remember it was November as there were firework displays but I cannot find any pictures.
