This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the small size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era. This particular style of the small size box in the range was made between 1882 and 1885.
It is box number RH13 21 and can be found on Church Lane in Itchingfield, near Horsham in West Sussex.
It was spotted by Steve on 16 May 2020 after lockdown was started to be eased.
