This box was made by Smith & Hawkes in Birmingham and is one of the small versions of the 1871-1880 range of wall boxes. This particular style of box was made in 1871 and 1872.
It is box number TN5 143 and can be found outside the booking office at Stonegate station near Wadhurst in East Sussex,
It was spotted by Steve on 27 August 2021.
