This
box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the small size
versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range
of wall boxes made in the Victorian era. This particular style of the
small size box in the range was made in 1881.
It is now out of use and can be found at the crossroads in the middle of Arclid near Sandbach, Cheshire.
It was spotted by Neil on 4 July 2024.
