This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the medium size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era. This particular style of the medium size box in the range was made between 1881 and 1885.
It is box number CV21 16 and can be found on platform 3 of the railway station in Rugby, Warwickshire.
