This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the small size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era. This particular style of the small size box in the range was made between 1886 and 1901.
This
is box number CV23 101 and can be found on the wall of Nethercote House in Nethercote next to Flecknoe, Rugby, Warwickshire. We try to always post our letters in this box now we live in Flecknoe.
It was spotted by Neil on 9 April 2016.
