This box was made by BP Walker in Birmingham and is one of the small versions of the 1871-1880 range of wall boxes. This particular style of the small box in the range was made between in 1873 and 1877.
This is our own private box that we bought in February 2022 and currently keeping in storage until we move into a house when we've finished cruising in France.
It is thought to have been at Cock Yard near Chapel-le-Fritch in Derbyshire. We bought it from UKAA reclamations who purchased a job lot of boxes from the Royal Mail.
