This
box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the large size
versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range
of wall boxes made in the Victorian era. This particular style of the large size box in the range was made between 1881 and 1885.
It is box number M2 13 and can be found at the junction of Mosley Street and Charlotte Street in the centre of Manchester.
It was spotted by Joanna's friend Matt on 2 February 2024.
