VR Wall Box London: Royal Mail Museum (Smith & Hawkes large) - Out of use

This box was made by Smith & Hawkes in Birmingham and is the large version of the 1861-1871 range.

It is out of use and mounted high up on a wall with four other Victorian boxes at the London Royal Mail museum. It is the one on the far left in the group picture below.
