This box was made by BP Walker in Birmingham and is the medium sized version of the 1871-1880 range of wall boxes. These medium sized versions were manufactured between 1873 and 1877.
The box is number SE24 18 and can be found on the platform at Herne Hill station in London SE24.It was spotted by Will's girlfriend's sister on 10 September 2020 when it was out of use and had a piece of wood screwed over the aperture.
It was spotted again by Joanna on 26 October 2025 and it was back in use - see pictures further down.
