This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the small size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era.  This particular style of the small size box in the range was made between 1886 and 1901.

It is box number HP16 29 and can be found in the wall of what was a pub in the settlement of Frith Hill near Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire.

It was spotted by Neil on 6 August 2019.
