This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the small size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era. This particular style of the small size box in the range was made between 1886 and 1901.
This is box number TR11 20 and can be found at the junction of Wayfield Road and Penarrow Road in Mylor near Falmouth, Cornwall.
It was spotted by Peter Williams on 18 February 2023.
