VR Wall Box Falmouth: Creek - TR11 36

This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the small size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era.  This particular style of the small size box in the range was made between 1882 and 1885.

It is box number TR11 36 and can be found on the Pandora Inn in Creek, Falmouth, Cornwall.  At the time is was seen it had been painted gold in recognition of Ben Ainslie, a local Olympian from the 2012 Olympics.
