VR Wall Box City of London: Chiswell Street - EC1 127

These boxes were made by WT Allen of London and are a pair of the large size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era.  This particular style of the large size box in the range was made between 1893 and 1901.

There are box numbers EC1 127 and can be found at the junction of Chiswell Street and Whitecross Street in the City of London.
