VR Wall Box Cardiff: Gwaelod-y-Garth - Out of use

This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the medium size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era.  This particular style of the medium size box in the range was made between 1886 and 1892.

The box is now out of use and can be found on the old post office in Gwaelod-y-Garth, Cardiff, South Wales.
