This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the medium size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era. This particular style of the medium size box in the range was made between 1881 and 1885.
It is box number PL30 151 and can be found on Silverstream Cottage in Hellandbridge near Bodmin in Cornwall, UK. This box is particularly interesting as the door has been replaced with a George V door.
