VR Wall Box Alton: Bentworth - Out of use

This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the medium size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era.  This particular style of the medium size box in the range was made between 1886 and 1892.

It is now out of use but is in the GU34 district can be found in Bentworth near Alton, Hampshire.
