VR Wall Box Barry: Barry Docks Station - CF62 Out of use

This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the small size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era.  This particular style of the small size box in the range was made between 1886 and 1901.

This box is out of use and the VR cypher can only just be made out under the layers of grey paint.  It can be found in the pedestrian underpass at Barry Docks station in Barry, Glamorgan.

It was spotted by Neil on 14 December 2021.
