This box was made by WT Allen of London and is one of the small size versions of the 1881-1901 range of wall boxes which was the last range of wall boxes made in the Victorian era. This particular style of the small size box in the range was made between 1882 and 1885.
It is box number HP16 73 and can be found in the hamlet of Ballinger Common near Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire.
