This box was made by BP Walker in Birmingham and is one of the small versions of the 1871-1880 range of wall boxes. This particular style of the small box in the range was made between in 1873 and 1877.
The box is number LA22 138 and can be found on Kirkstone Road in Ambleside, Cumbria.
It was spotted by Peter Williams on 3 September 2022.
