VR Pillar Box Waterlooville: Worlds End - PO7 97

This box was made by Cochrane & Co of Dudley and this style was made in 1859.  It was one of the forerunners of the first standardised national pillar box that was introduced in 1866.  The style is now known as the First National Standard and this is an example of the small version.

It is box number PO7 97 and can be found in Worlds End near Waterlooville in Hampshire.

It was spotted by Steve on 1 November 2020.
