This box was made by Cochrane & Co of Dudley and this style was made in 186359. It was one of the forerunners of the first standardised national pillar box that was introduced in 1866. This style is now known as the Liverpool Special.
It is box number L3 63 and can be found on Salthouse Quay at Albert Dock in the Liverpool dock area.
It was spotted by Nidene Pillay, one of Catherine's friends on 30 August 2021.
