VR Pillar Box Bude: The Strand - EX23 12

This box was made by Andrew Handyside of Derby and London and this style of box was made in 1892.

It is box number EX23 12 and can be found outside the Carriers Inn on The STrand in Bude, Cornwall.  Until 2016 it stood nearer the adjacent road junction but was removed either because it was in an unsafe position or it had been involved in a collision..

It was spotted by Peter Williams on 15 October 2020.
