VR Fluted Box Banbury: Bridge Street - OX16 1012

This box was made by Cochrane of Dudley and this style of box was made in 1856 and 1857.  This is one of the original style of pillar made before the first standard boxes, known as Penfolds, were introduced nationwide in 1866.

It is box number OX16 1012 and can be found on Bridge Street in the centre of Banbury, Oxfordshire.
