About Us

Between us we have nine wonderful children and a dog called Buddy and often hired narrowboats for family holidays. We bought our first narrowboat in 2010 and had the current one built in 2016.

In November 2014 we started living permanently on the boat so we could cruise wherever the fancy took us.

We had our boat shipped over to France in March 2019 and are now enjoying a new way of life on the French waterways.

In the 10 years since moving aboard we have travelled 7,200 miles through 4,869 locks, including 4,265 miles through 2,350 locks in mainland Europe, mainly France.
