Chalkhill Blue is 69' long and 6' 10" wide. The draft (clearance) is 2'
4" at the back (aft) and 1' 4" at the front (forward). She was built
by Alvechurch Boat Centre in 1992 and was a 12 berth hire boat called
Kennet Lock until we bought her. She now has a permanent double bed and
four bunks. The lounge and dining seating can each be converted to
double beds when required. We renamed her Chalkhill Blue after a family
vote on the British butterfly names.
Here are some of our favourite pictures of her.
